About Us

We often get asked about the meaning behind our name, Bumper Krop., so we wanted to let you in on the story of our namesake. A “bumper crop” refers to an unusually large harvest in agriculture. From the start, our goal has been to do what we love, while providing for our growing families, with high hopes of an abundance of clients, Bumper Krop. was created.

In March 2011, Bumper Krop. launched as a full service design company offering web design, branding, logos, print materials and copywriting services with offices in Crystal Lake, IL and West Des Moines, IA. We also are dedicated to giving back to the community through non-profit projects. With our strong beliefs rooted in family values and God, Bumper Krop. works with local churches and non-profit organizations, which helps us remember how fortunate we are to be able to successfully do what we love.

Jen Miller

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising in 2007 from Iowa State University, and immediately began working for a marketing company. In those four years, my personal approach to my work allowed me to gain experience in account management and client relations. Now in my 10th year of design experience, I’ve honed in my skills to specialize in web design and build out. I love seeing clients’ website dreams become a reality.

With three young boys at home, I enjoy being able to balance both my passion for family and design.

Meredith Bach

Graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago, I immediately began working in the marketing field. I then serendipitously switched gears and started freelancing after I felt like my creativity was being limited. I now enjoy specializing in branding and creating solutions through a variety of mediums as it gives me the opportunity to utilize my creative spirit.

I also love spending time with my husband, my two sons and daughter, and being outdoors with our wheaten terrier named Toaster. I love the Lord, documenting life and being with family. When I’m not putting my creative energy to work at BK., I turn my passion to handcrafts and projects around the home.
